On 24 September, from 19:00, in the garden of the German Cultural Centre in Sibiu, DocuNights returns with a special evening dedicated to one of the most fascinating musical stories of post-war Europe.
The Hipodrome of Music, in collaboration with the German Cultural Centre Sibiu, invite you to the screening of Liebe, D-Mark und Tod (Love, Deutschmarks and Death), an acclaimed documentary exploring the rich and often overlooked world of Turkish immigrant music in Germany. Through stories, archives and unforgettable songs, the film reveals how music became a space of identity, belonging and resistance.
After the screening, stay with us for a relaxed gathering with a buffet (made by Bianca & Gabriela), drinks, and a listening session of Anatolian Rock from the 60s to the 80s.
